The IV is basically a enlarged version of the IIIa. Only the IV is always a ketch. The layout of the main cabin and the front are the same as the IIIa and have a dinette. The aftcabin is completely different. It offers a second head and a large dining table. Some of them are built as Trintella 41, the aftcabin is then attainable through the main cabin.

The Trintella V is a one of a kind, everthing is big on this ship. The design differs significally of that of the III and IV. It was the first Trintella with a elevated cockpit. As a result of that it offers room for a complete galley and settee beneath the cockpit. All V's were ketchrigged.
