The large fueltanks (2x400l.) and watertank makes it very suitable for the longer distances. Unique is its deep cockpit, that offers the helmsman optimal protection against the elements. The III is both built as ketchrigged and slooprigged. There are 2 main version regarding the interior. There's one with a long side galley and a navigation station on starboard, a dinette on port, in the front a head and a double berth. The other has a galley to the rear bulkhead on port a navigation station on starboard, two benches in the main cabin and in the front a head and storageroom. The difference between the IIIa and the III is the shape of the aftcabin. The shape of the IIIa is beloved by many and hated by others. Almost all IIIa are built as ketch, only 3 have a single mast and therefore very rare. The interior lay outs are the same as the III. Although, there are some that have the 2 layout alternatives combined. They have a dinette and opposite a bench as well as a galley to the rear bulhead in the main cabin and a double berth in the front.
