Every ship needs some maintenance. Although Trintels and Trintella are heavily built and probably many of them will last longer then their skippers, they also need maintenance. To some of the owners this is  sometimes a bit of a problem, especially because the shipyard has left The Netherlands. The search for original parts can be difficult but will eventually pay. The teak-deck is one of the key-features of every Trintel and Trintlla yacht.  Although the decking is of good quality, regular maintenance is needed to keep it ship-shape.
